Slippery road leads woman to seek car accident compensation

A Chatteris woman battling for injury compensation a year and a half after she was involved in a car crash is hoping others will come forward to support her case.

Jo Howard, 22, suffered from concussion and was forced to take nine months off work after she crashed on a Fenland road, an incident she claims was caused by slippery mud, Cambs 24 reports.

She still suffers with headaches and needs to use a TENS machine in her job in order to ease the pain.

"If I was only ill for a month, or if the injuries healed, I would have been so annoyed," she told the news provider.

"But I know a lot of people have come off that road and something needs to be done because it is so dangerous."

It was recently announced by the Ministry of Justice that around 400,000 people seeking car accident compensation could benefit from a speedier payout process.ADNFCR-2070-ID-19377529-ADNFCR
