Man seeks compensation for 30ft fall

A Milton man is beginning a search for injury compensation after falling 30 feet during from a railway bridge during an illegal rave.

Andrew Henley, 26, almost died after falling onto a disused railway line in fields near Keele three years ago, the Sentinel reports.

It took him three weeks to regain consciousness, after which he had no memory of the incident but was left with a fractured skull, broken tibia and four fractured ribs.

Mr Henley has also suffered from psychological problems including memory loss, a lack of motivation and a short temper.

He told the paper: "It’s been a very long journey to get to this point. I feel like I lost everything and I had to start all over again."

The case follows news that an Army officer has received millions of pounds in compensation after he was left paraplegic following a jump from a bridge during a training exercise in Germany.ADNFCR-2070-ID-19248020-ADNFCR
