A Swindon cyclist is in line to receive a multi-million pound injury compensation settlement after a car accident four years ago left him in need of constant care.
Graham Gregory, 48, was left paralysed after being hit by a car from behind as he cycled home from a friend’s house, the Swindon Advertiser reports.
He suffered serious spinal injuries and spent 32 days in intensive care at Stoke Mandeville hospital.
Prior to his accident Mr Gregory has held a range of jobs, including working as a kitchen hand and fairground assistant, but he is now unable to care for himself.
Lawyers have estimated that he might receive an injury compensation payout as high as GBP 4 million.
It was recently reported by the Macclesfield Express that a Macclesfield man who suffered severe brain damage during a car accident has won a landmark victory in his struggle for injury compensation.
