A Doncaster man is in line to receive GBP5k in injury compensation after a horrific attack at a nightclub.
The unnamed victim was headbutted by drunken assailant Joe Wiltshire in the Trilogy nightclub in silver street as a result of a family feud, the Star reports.
He was then punched and had a glass bottle smashed over his forehead when he tried to get up to defend himself.
The victim required hospital treatment following the assault, including six stitches to repair a three-centimetre cut to his head.
After hearing that Joe Wiltshire had £15,000 in savings, the judge ruled that he should face a £5,000 injury compensation bill on top of the three-year prison sentence imposed upon him.
It follows a report in the Derby Telegraph that local taxi driver Shahid Malik has received a compensation payout and a letter of apology from the man who vandalised his car.
