Woman contacts injury solicitors over whiplash claim

03/09/2010

A woman has contacted injury solicitors after she sustained whiplash in a freak accident at an airport.

Stephanie Wills was aboard a plane at Palma airport waiting to return back to the UK when a bus drove into the side of the aircraft.

Former travel company representative Ms Willis said: "We had just boarded the plane and people were still taking their seats or putting bags in their overhead lockers when the whole plane shuddered and everyone was thrown to one side."

She went on to say that many passengers seemed to sustain minor injuries in the incident and were clearly shaken after it.

Ms Willis said she was told that one of the people travelling on the bus had experienced a fit, but no medical assistance was made available to the passengers.

Back in July, the Daily Mirror reported that a man who had to have his leg amputated due to injuries sustained on a cruise holiday had made a compensation claim.
