28/10/2011

Six people were injured when two cars collided head on in South Yorkshire on Monday night, which may result in car accident compensation claims.

A white Renault Megane and a blue Ford Focus collided at 10:30pm on Monday night, with all of the occupants requiring hospital treatment for their injuries, according to the Sheffield Star.

The Renault driver received slight knee, arm and head injuries and another passenger, a 16-year-old boy, sustained a whiplash injury and minor cuts to the face.

Another passenger suffered serious injuries in the incident including a fractured skull and a fractured jaw and his condition is currently described as serious.

The Ford driver, a 34-year-old Stairfoot man and a 16-year-old schoolgirl passenger both sustained slight whiplash injuries.

Another passenger in the Ford, a 15-year-old girl, had slight pain in both legs and neck following the collision and was taken to hospital for observation.

Earlier this month, six people were taken to hospital in the Wirral after a car crash.
