Police investigating school bus crash
24/11/2011Police in Hampshire have launched an inquiry after two children suffered whiplash injuries when their school bus collided with a car.
Nine other children were hurt in the crash, but did not need hospital treatment.
According to the Hampshire Chronicle, the bus was taking around 50 children to school in Winchester when it collided with a Volkswagen Golf in Durley Street, Durley.
All of the schoolchildren involved in the crash have now recovered and are back at school.
Police have not charged anyone in relation to the incident, but are investigating the matter further.
Meanwhile, a woman was treated for a whiplash injury in Newbury after the car she was driving collided with a Vauxhall Corsa at the junction of Walton Way and Kiln Road.
Firefighters rescued the woman from her car, which had become trapped in a hedge following the impact, after being alerted by passers-by.
