Motorcyclist seeks injury compensation after accident
04/11/2011A motorcyclist has launched a personal injury claim after an accident left her in a wheelchair.
Nerys Pearce was involved in a collision with a car and suffered serious injuries as a result of the accident which occurred in 2008.
The collision happened when the driver of the car, Sharen Miles, allegedly pulled out into the road attempting to turn right through traffic in front of Miss Pearce's motorbike, causing the accident.
Miss Pearce damaged her right arm and left leg in the accident, which has caused her to develop complex regional pain syndrome in her legs, leaving her dependant on a wheelchair.
Initially Miss Miles was held 75 per cent responsible for the collision, but the two parties are unable to agree on a suitable compensation settlement.
According to the Hounslow Chronicle she has submitted legal papers to the High Court in London as her battle for compensation continues.
