Katie Price suffers whiplash injury
27/04/2011Katie Price is recovering after suffering a whiplash injury in a recent car accident in Argentina.
The 32-year-old celebrity was visiting her boyfriend, Argentinean model Leandro Penna, when the incident took place.
Leandro was driving the pair in a 4x4 in Estancia San Pedro Viejo when two horses bolted into their path.
Katie, also known as Jordan, reportedly suffered cuts on her hands and a whiplash injury, but feels the consequences could have been much more severe.
"It's a miracle that we're alive. It was absolutely terrifying. It all happened in a flash and I have absolutely no idea how I wasn't badly injured," the Daily Mirror reports the mum-of-three as saying.
The two stallions were killed in the accident, which Katie said she was "distraught" about, as she owns her own horses.
Earlier this month, the Westmorland Gazette reported that a person travelling in a Ford Fiesta sustained a whiplash injury in a car accident on the A590.
